2. Our Products

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, fabric compositions, dimensions, colours and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

Hiba Rahma Design works with textiles including cotton, silk, voile, jacquard, chiffon, satin and fabrics incorporating specialist printing, weaving and finishing techniques.

Due to the nature of textiles and manufacturing processes, minor variations may occur between individual pieces or different production runs.

Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and the settings of the device or screen used to view the product.

Minor variations inherent to the fabric, printing or manufacturing process do not necessarily constitute a defect.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to applicable consumer law.

3. Product Measurements

Measurements and dimensions displayed on our website are provided as accurately as reasonably possible.

Where fabric is sold by length, customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate length or size before completing their order.

Where a customer requests a specific cut, length or other customisation, the provisions relating to Cut-to-Length Fabrics & Customised Products below will apply.

4. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

You will receive an electronic acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order.

An order acknowledgement does not necessarily constitute acceptance of your order.

A contract is formed when we accept your order and/or dispatch the goods, subject to applicable law.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • the product is unavailable;
  • payment cannot be authorised;
  • there is an obvious pricing or product-description error;
  • we are unable to deliver to the selected destination; or
  • we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.

If we cancel an order after receiving payment, any amount due to you for the cancelled order will be refunded.

5. Prices & Payment

Product prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website.

The applicable product price and delivery charges will be displayed before the customer completes the purchase.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout or another payment method expressly agreed by us.

For international orders, customs duties, import VAT, taxes, brokerage or clearance fees may apply as explained in Section 14.

6. Cut-to-Length Fabrics & Customised Products

Certain Hiba Rahma Design products are supplied as fabric and are cut from the original roll specifically according to the length selected or requested by the customer.

Once the fabric has been cut, it cannot be restored to its original condition or returned to the original roll.

Where such goods qualify under applicable law as goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, cut-to-length fabrics are not eligible for cancellation, return or exchange due to change of mind once they have been cut.

This may also apply to other genuinely personalised or customised products prepared specifically according to an individual customer’s specifications.

This restriction does not affect your statutory rights where the product is:

  • faulty;
  • damaged;
  • incorrectly supplied; or
  • not as described.

UK distance-selling rules provide an exception to ordinary cancellation rights for goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

7. Cancellation & Returns — Standard Products

For products that are not cut-to-length, personalised or otherwise excluded from cancellation rights, customers may exercise any cancellation and return rights available under applicable consumer law.

For eligible UK online purchases, consumers generally have 14 days after receiving their goods to notify the seller that they wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return the goods.

To request a return, please contact:

customersupport@unitedtradinghouse.com

and provide your:

  • name;
  • order number;
  • product being returned; and
  • notice that you wish to cancel/return the order.

Products should be returned in their original condition and should not have been used, worn, washed, altered or damaged beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them.

Where possible, original product cards, labels and packaging should be included.

Nothing in this Returns Policy limits any statutory rights available to the customer.

8. Return Shipping Costs

Where an eligible product is returned because the customer has changed their mind, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product to us, provided this has been communicated as required by applicable law.

We recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured delivery service.

Where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, return costs and remedies will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.

9. Refunds

Where a valid cancellation or return is accepted, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Refunds will ordinarily be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or legally permitted.

Where applicable, we may wait until the returned goods have been received, or until the customer provides appropriate evidence that they have been returned, before issuing the refund.

Any deductions permitted by law for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods may be applied where appropriate.

10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or materially different from its description, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

[customersupport@unitedtradinghouse.com]

Please include your order number and a description of the issue. Photographs may be requested where they reasonably assist us in assessing damage or an incorrect item.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable consumer law, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, refund or another legally required remedy.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

11. Sale & Promotional Products

Products purchased during a sale, promotional campaign or using a discount code remain subject to applicable statutory consumer rights.

A reduction in price does not, by itself, remove statutory rights relating to returns or faulty goods.

Where a discounted product is also cut-to-length, personalised or customised, however, the relevant provisions in Section 6 may apply.

12. Promotional, Loyalty & VIP Codes

Promotional, loyalty and VIP codes may be subject to individual campaign conditions.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • codes must be used within their stated validity period;
  • only one promotional code may be used per eligible order;
  • a promotional code cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • codes may not be combined with other offers where stated;
  • personal or VIP codes may be restricted to the intended recipient;
  • personal codes may be limited to one use; and
  • eligibility requirements communicated as part of the promotion will apply.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel the use of a promotional code where it has been used fraudulently, improperly or contrary to the stated promotion conditions.

13. Repeat Orders & Pre-orders

Certain sold-out, limited-edition or previous Hiba Rahma Design products may occasionally become available through a Repeat Order or Pre-order service.

Unless otherwise specified on the relevant offer:

Estimated production period: approximately 2–3 months.

Payment schedule:

50% of the purchase price is payable when the Repeat Order is confirmed.

The remaining 50% is payable before dispatch or delivery.

Production and delivery estimates are indicative and may be affected by manufacturing, fabric availability, specialist finishing, international transportation or other circumstances.

The customer will be informed where a material delay occurs.

The cancellation and refund treatment of a Repeat Order will depend on the nature of the product and applicable consumer law.

Where the product is genuinely manufactured or customised to the customer’s individual specifications, different cancellation rights may apply.

We do not automatically describe the initial 50% payment as non-refundable in all circumstances. Any amount retained following cancellation must comply with applicable consumer law and rules concerning fair cancellation charges. UK guidance requires consumer contract terms, including provisions dealing with deposits and cancellation charges, to be fair.

14. Shipping & Delivery

We currently deliver to the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States and selected international destinations.

Available shipping methods, delivery charges and estimated delivery periods will be displayed or communicated during the ordering process.

Where tracking is available, tracking information will be provided after dispatch.

Delivery times are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.

International deliveries may be delayed due to circumstances including:

  • customs clearance;
  • local customs inspections;
  • courier delays;
  • adverse weather;
  • public holidays; or
  • circumstances reasonably outside our control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact details.

15. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

Orders delivered outside the United Kingdom may be subject to customs duties, import VAT, taxes, brokerage charges or customs-clearance fees imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated during checkout that such charges are included, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge and may be payable separately by the recipient.

The relevant customs authority or delivery company may contact the recipient directly regarding customs clearance or payment.

Customers are responsible for complying with applicable import requirements in their destination country.

Because customs rules and charges vary between countries and may change, Hiba Rahma Design cannot guarantee the amount that may be charged by local authorities.

16. Refused, Unclaimed or Undeliverable International Orders

If an international order is returned to us because:

  • delivery was refused;
  • the customer did not collect the shipment;
  • required customs procedures were not completed;
  • applicable import charges were not paid; or
  • incorrect or incomplete delivery information was supplied,

we will assess the order and any refund due in accordance with applicable law.

Where legally permitted, reasonable costs actually incurred as a result of the failed delivery or return may be deducted from any refund due.

This does not affect statutory consumer rights.

17. Intellectual Property

All intellectual-property rights relating to Hiba Rahma Design and its products remain the property of their respective rights holders.

This includes, where applicable:

  • textile designs;
  • prints and patterns;
  • original artwork;
  • photographs and videos;
  • logos;
  • trademarks;
  • product names;
  • graphics;
  • website content;
  • written material; and
  • other original creative works.

No content may be reproduced, copied, modified, commercially exploited, distributed or used without appropriate permission except where permitted by law.

18. Website Information & Availability

We take reasonable care to ensure that the information displayed on our website is accurate.

However, occasional errors may occur in relation to prices, descriptions, availability or other information.

Stock availability may also change before an order is processed.

If a material error affects your order, we will contact you and take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law.

19. Privacy & Personal Data

We collect and process personal information in connection with orders, customer service, website operation and other legitimate business activities.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with our separate Privacy Policy.

Customers should be able to access the Privacy Policy directly from the website.

20. Limitation of Liability & Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or overrides a customer’s statutory consumer rights.

In particular, these Terms do not remove legal rights relating to goods that are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet mandatory consumer standards.

21. International Customers

Customers purchasing from outside the United Kingdom may benefit from mandatory consumer protections under the laws applicable in their country of residence.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Where a mandatory local consumer-protection rule applies, it will take precedence to the extent required by law.

22. Governing Law

These Terms and contracts entered into through our website are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom, subject to mandatory consumer protections and jurisdictional rights that may apply.

Before publication, this clause should be reviewed to specify the appropriate UK jurisdiction — for example, Scotland or England and Wales — based on United Trading–UK Ltd’s registered and operational circumstances.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, services or legal requirements.

The Terms applicable to an order will generally be those in effect at the time the order was placed, subject to applicable law.

The latest version will be published on our website together with its effective or last-updated date.
